Preparing your abstract and paper for submission
A walkthrough of the four stages every author follows — from abstract to acceptance to peer-reviewed publication.
Abstract submission
Prepare an abstract of 150–300 words that clearly states your study's purpose, results, and conclusions, then submit it through the website. Choose the most relevant topic from the conference topics , and feel free to use the Abstract Writing Template before you begin.
To submit
- Click Register on the conference page, then Submit an Abstract.
- Select the relevant topic and enter your study title under “Paper Title”.
- Enter the abstract directly, or upload it as .pdf, .doc, .docm, or .docx.
- Add 3–5 keywords covering the field, topic, and research area.
- List the names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors and co-authors.
- Confirm you've read the instructions, then click Submit Abstract.
Acceptance & participation
Once your abstract is accepted, you'll complete a registration form. After you submit it, you'll receive an invoice with instructions for paying online or by bank transfer — check the Conference Fees page for details, and the Important Dates tab so you don't miss a deadline or trigger a late fee.
Note that participation, abstract, and paper deadlines can differ — it's worth checking Important Dates regularly. Submitting a paper for publication is entirely optional; accepted abstracts can be presented at the conference on their own.
Payment & preliminary check
Peer review can't begin until payment is confirmed — see the Conference Fees tab for applicable costs. Payment secures a review, not an acceptance. Once confirmed, your paper is checked for:
- iThenticate similarity screening
- Readability
- Scope and relevance to the conference
| Similarity | Outcome |
|---|---|
| 10–15% | Generally acceptable, from all sources combined |
| 3–5% | Generally acceptable, from any single source |
| Under 30% | May require revision to reduce the percentage |
| Over 30% | May result in complete rejection |
Paper submission & review
Authors who want their work published may submit a full paper once their abstract is accepted.
Requirements
- At least 6 pages and 4,000 words, not counting the abstract, keywords, or references.
- No maximum length — add pages as needed for figures, tables, and appendices.
- Written in English, and relevant to one of the conference topics .
- Formatted to the Paper Writing Template .
- Submitted the same way as your abstract, or by email to the conference.
Structure
Abstract and keywords, introduction, problem statement and study aim, literature review, methodology, results and discussion, conclusion, and references.
Peer review
Each paper goes to at least two reviewers under double-blind review, followed by a final decision from the responsible editor. There's no fixed cap on review rounds — more may follow depending on reviewer feedback. If revisions are requested, resubmit by the given deadline; missing it can mean exclusion from the final publication.
If accepted, the corresponding author provides a final version matching the chosen publication's guidelines and completes any required forms, including Springer's Consent-to-Publish form where applicable. Check your inbox — and spam folder — throughout the process.
Publishing opportunities
Authors choose which publishing option they'd like their paper considered for:
Your paper is then reviewed against that option's own requirements — choosing an option doesn't guarantee acceptance. Every paper still goes through the preliminary checks, peer review, editorial evaluation, and similarity requirements above. See the Publishing Opportunities tab for indexing, eligibility, fees, and procedures for each option.
